Although, Bob's description was inaccurate i shall follow the original guidlines(u still rock bob). My favorite "irrational fracion" is 3/3. because it is equal to 1 AND 0.99999999999999999... Since 1/3 is 0.33333333... and 2/3 is 0.6666666... 3/3 is both. you might already be aware of this, but it is an endless mind-boggler!! (i'm just sharing so don't think me as a contender in the contest)
Neener neener jeff. Anyway, since Bob is the new authority on things while Chad is away, what is the probability that you guys will begin doing rollcall questions again? I know that you won't go back to the old ways of the show, but still, rollcall was and IS iconic. It is as important to the Video Game Show as Emelio and Pepe the Fishboy (I probably spelled that wrong.)
If we ever do rollcall again, it'll be a while. The problem was coming up with new AND interesting ones. You can only do so many "your favorite video game character in some silly situation" questions before you want to pull your eyes out of your head. When we get interesting ones, we'll discuss them on the show, as we did with "what RPG class would Jesus be."
I beg to differ. He's not undead. He wasn't raised from the dead as a walking corpse. He was resurrected.
More evidence:
He can cure disease.
He can heal.
He once made a desperate prayer (before being crusified).
Being the son of God, I'm sure he can smite.
As for levitate, that's debatable. I mean, was he walking directly on the water, or floating above it. Who's to say. If anything, the shaman ability is most accurate, but the rest of the class abilities don't match as close as a priest. Regardless, the death knight ability, path of frost, is completely inaccurate.
Finally, don't forget, Jesus was a rabbi, which is just a Jewish priest.
I swear I'm not playing it on the guitar and singing it... that was probably the biggest waste of my time, there is never going to be an occasion suitable for me to perform that.
The problem with roll call is as Ivan pointed out...the questions became old and tired. Only 1 out of every 9 or 10 questions was interesting. And that's including ones sent in by listeners.
The was point of roll call was to establish a link between a person's name and their voice. That's it. That's what it was for & nothing more. I think nine mentioned that a couple threads ago.
I don't know if we'll go back to roll call BUT if we do, these kind of questions aren't going to fly (and these were sent in by listeners):
If for whatever reason you were lined up in front of a firing squad of video game characters, what four characters would you prefer to be killed by?
If you were to dress up for halloween as a Team Fortress 2 character, which character would you be?
If you could cross over two different super heroes, from video games, comic books, films- whatever- what two would they be?
I'm sure people will still send in roll call questions and we'll still belittle the ones we don't like.
I see a method to your madness. I can actually remember the show where you began asking people to send in roll call questions... it was in the 90 somethings if I remember correctly...
