I'd totally want a Mech in my driveway, from Mechwarrior of course.
Madcat / Supernova / Cauldron Born (in order of preference).
As long as they have Jump Jets and ERPPCs, I'm happy.
You guys realize that the patch required for the Borderlands DLC installed SecuRom (effectively a MalWare attempt at DRM) on your system without warning if you didn't have it in your system already, right? They even did this if you got the game through steam. I wanted to get the DLC really bad until I read about this. I want to play it, but not bad enough to compromise my system.
Heh... Mario: Now with new and improve iWin feature!
DJ Hero? A welcome change? #3? REALLY?
I know people who work electronic retail. and nobody buys DJ Hero ROFL
They sold maybe 2 between them... How much did they pay Time for the rating?
I think this may be similar to your opinions on the "Deadliest Catch" game (way back), where DJ Hero is only actually a best seller or "popular" game if Eminem and his friends buy all the copies. Which may have been the case.
I'm against securom like systems of any kind, but most days I just want to play games and don't really put much thought on the crap that goes on my gaming rig.
However I should say that I have many different PCs for many different tasks. If I FUBAR my gaming rig with something, I'll just reformat. There's nothing important on it besides saves.
Although I understand where you're coming from and it does suck that companies put technology like that in their games which doesn't really stop and just makes the lives of normal consumers more difficult.
The real reason I picked it: That's the only ship I remember the name and design of off the top of my head. If Bob didn't mention the pancake design, I was going to mention it.
I remember the names and kind of remember the designs of the other ships, but the Dralthi is ingrained in my mind since it was on the first Wing Commander's box art:
ditto, not to mention lately we've had to work 12-18 hour shifts, so i loaded up episodes 150-now and been listening to them, which makes the day much better.
To access the "win" feature in New Super Mario Bros Wii you have to have died a LOT in the level first, you can't just hit a button and win. Consequently, the levels are some of the hardest and most challenging in a Mario game to date, since Nintendo can count on even those who suck at the game being able to get through it.
1) Light Cycles only generate a grid wall on the game grid. Driven off the grid, they handle like an ordinary sport bike (watch the movie)
2)There are about 100 smurfs, all created by magic, best guess Papa Smurf created them all after choosing that form for hisself (he's a powerful magic user), although Peyo never did a creation story. They're magically created non-self reproducing mammals...self-aware homunculi, basically.
3)Gargamel created Smurfette, originally she had black hair. Papa Smurf (can't believe I'm writing this) used his light magic to rid her of Gargamels influence. Gargamel created her to sew confusion and infighting into the Smurf's ranks.
What can I say? I'm an animator and I grew up in the eighties...deal, bitches!
I wish I had the luxury of multiple systems... Heh.
Then again, I do have three 500gb HDs in my tower (along with an 80 and 160). I've been considering multiple boot sources, sorta like pretending I have systems for different purposes, or to have a backup of my main at all times (one way or another). Just need to tell BIOS which one I want to use today if I did that, and then I could get the DLC... but yeah, it makes me sad.
I guess the SecuRom came with the 1.10 patch actually, not just the DLC, so even if you just do a standard patchup that's needed to continue doing multiplayer (which kills it for a lot of the I guess), it installs it, but they claim it isn't active until you actually buy the DLC. Who knows - maybe I'll get over it and buy the pack anyways.
Edit: When you say Gaming Grid I know you mean Tron... But... All I can think of is this:
(if the link doesn't work for you - spoiler - it's a reboot of good 'ol ReBoot - possibly as a 3 movie set)
Greatest intro I have heard since I became a listener! Kudos to the whole team!
I do love the Tron light cycle, and remember it leaves the wall only on the battle arena. Of course, feel free to stop other idiots trying to get a hold of your vehicle!
At least Chad didn't choose the Scimitar, the turtle ship of the Human federation!
This was an absolutely hilarious episode! I couldn't stop laughing at everything. I hope the next episode is just as crazy... The ending with Hammer Time and Getting Jiggy With It was the icing on the cake.
